Important Lodging Information

  • There is no official "host hotel" for the 2009 National. Exhibitors will be responsible for negotiating their own room rates. Reservations can be made as early in advance as the motels will accept them. Booking via the Internet is one of the best ways to get a good rate.
  • The list below does not include all Perry motels. Click here to view a more complete list.
  • The information listed below is correct to the best of our knowledge and based on information provided to us by each motel. Please contact the motels directly if you have specific questions about their locations or their dog acceptance policies.
  • The acceptance of dogs by each motel is subject to change and fees normally apply in order to keep dogs in the rooms.

Motel Policies

Notice to dog owners/exhibitors
When you sign the show entry form, you automatically agree to the following terms concerning motels. They have been established for the good of all exhibitors and will ensure future use of these facilities.

  1. All motels accepting dogs require plastic under crates - no exceptions. Plastic sheeting is to be placed under each crate in each room.
  2. Dogs must be crated when left alone in the room - no exceptions.
  3. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while in the motel, lobby or on motel grounds. Rooms and lobbies must be kept clean of dog debris.
  4. Dogs should be exercised in designated areas on the motel premises. Every dog owner is expected to pick up after their own dog and dispose of waste in designated receptacles. It is the responsibility of the dog owners to find out from the motel staff where these areas and receptacles are located.
  5. No dogs may be bathed in the motel rooms. Bathing facilities are available at the show site.
  6. Rooms will be inspected daily by members of the motel staff and observed violations or damages will be reported to the motel management and/or the show committee.
  7. The show committee,working with a fair and equitable system, is charged with investigating complaints.
  8. Each dog owner/exhibitor is expected to cooperate with the investigative committee if a complaint is filed.
